College admissions essays. You may feel overwhelmed just seeing those three words. That’s where we step in! iAchieve Learning is offering a FREE College Essay Writing Workshop for juniors and seniors to help them get started on crafting their college essay and to ensure that it stands out. Students will need to bring with them their laptop, paper and something to write with and a draft of an essay that they’ve been working on.
This workshop will cover:
- Identifying what the prompt really wants from you
- How to make your essay really stand out
- How to know when to stop editing and just submit
- Creating and utilizing an outline
- When to reference your resume and when to let your words speak for themselves
The presentation will be given by Ryan P. C. Trimble. Ryan has been a language tutor and college essay writing tutor for well over ten years, starting in Raleigh, North Carolina and now in the Chicago area. Ryan graduated from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington with a double major in French Language and Film Studies and has been tutoring with iAchieve Learning since 2016.
